Jack Diamond hosted the Jack Diamond Morning Show in Washington, DC for ABC radio for 30 years!
Jack cherishes his long-standing relationships with many Hall of Fame athletes, including Joe Theismann, Darrell Green, Charles Mann, Art, Monk, and many others from the Washington football team. In fact, the first time Joe Theismann was back on the field at RFK stadium after suffering his career ending injury, was when he and Jack played catch, one morning on the Jack Diamond Morning Show.
Jack has also interviewed a Who’s Who in sports, including virtually every major name in every major sport, and in many instances, participated in the Washington sports teams, community and charity outreaches. This includes being the host for on-board cruises for the Washington Capitals and Washington Bullets/Wizards basketball teams. Jack was friends with the late Abe Pollin and Irene Pollin, and worked closely with them in their philanthropic work.
For the past 25 years, Jack has fronted a band that has opened for national touring acts including Elton John, the Moody Blues, and many others, and played for as many as 40,000 people. Jack’s band was also the personal favorite of Vice President Al Gore and played many of their events both personal and for the administration.
Jack was also friends with Ambassador, Sergeant Shriver and his family, and he and the Band did work on behalf of Special Olympics, and continues to do so.
Jack has been career long friends with Mike Love of the Beach Boys, and has performed with a Beach Boys on many occasions, including at Wolf Trap.
Jack has appeared on national television many times, including a speaking role on the George Lopez Show. Jack cohosted Broadcast House, “Live“ for WUSA, TV, channel 9, and he was the featured host on FOX TVs. American Idol Chatter for 16 years.
