Red Hill Theatre Group is excited to announce its upcoming world premiere production of Mythos of a Lost Nightmare!
“In a small middle Appalachian town lives Esther, an artist in their 20’s who just wants to live a peaceful life in their little corner of the world. The catch: their family struggles to understand their art, their leisurely approach to life and, most importantly, their identity as a nonbinary person. They’re not hated or suppressed, just met with a consistent and annoying confusion.
As a result, Esther spends their spare time venturing into nature, trying to escape the constant stress of living. That is, until one day Esther finds an abandoned building occupied by a creature that will come to change their life forever.

Mythos of a Lost Nightmare is a new play by Cody James that bridges the gap between calm fireside storytelling and introspective expressionist horror, taking an unusual and deep look and gender identity in small town Appalachia.”

Mythos of a Lost Nightmare runs from Friday, February 14 to Saturday, February 15 at New Spire Arts (15 West Patrick Street, Frederick, MD, 21701). Performances will take place at 7:30pm with a runtime of approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

Tickets are $10 for general admission seating, additional fees may apply.
