Street team responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Encourage event attendees to participate in onsite contests.

Job Description: Marketing Specialist
Our company provides local businesses with advanced techniques in broadcast, online digital advertising, podcasting, e-commerce, and promotions/event marketing. We are hiring a Marketing Specialist. This person is responsible for business development and generating digital strategies for local businesses to help them grow their business. The Marketing Specialist will prospect new business, present and sell integrated marketing strategies, and manage the details of those campaigns once implemented. The ideal candidate is driven by success and the desire to achieve a level of expertise in marketing and sales. We expect our marketing specialists to be market leaders in knowledge and strategy and provide ongoing world-class research and training to support that mission.
The Marketing Specialist will:
- Develop new advertisers by being in the market and doing client presentations as the marketing expert
- Follow our process for creating omnichannel marketing solutions
- Prepare and gather all materials needed for client strategy sessions; attend meetings and present solutions in a professional proposal format.
- Schedule regular meetings with clients to review and discuss their campaigns
- Be flexible and have strong people skills with the ability to work with a variety of personalities
- Create and provide research and reference material as needed
- Maintain all prospective, pending, and sold business and provide reports as needed
- Be responsible for making sure sold campaigns are executed correctly and following our processes to ensure all the details are seen through to completion
- Maintain an accurate daily record of client interactions and account progress in our CRM system
Experience and Skills:
The Marketing Specialist will have:
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint is a MUST)
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and stay on task
- Excellent time management and listening skills
- Strong communication skills; the ability to effectively present in a small or large group setting in a positive and energized manner
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks and consistently meet deadlines
- High attention to detail – spelling, grammar, numbers, costs, deadlines – able to juggle a lot of plates and stay organized
- The ability to learn quickly – advertising is always changing
- The desire to be an advertising expert and share that knowledge and help our sales team and clients
