12th Annual Youth Prayer Rally
• Food and Pre-event Activities begin at 5:30PM
• Youth Prayer Rally Program starts at 6:00PM
Every year, young people (K through College) from area churches and youth organizations gather at Baker Park with their friends and families to participate in the Youth Prayer Rally, which observes the National Day of Prayer, which occurs annually on the first Thursday in May.
The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance inviting people to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by Congress, and its purpose is to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer, and to mobilize the Christian community to intercede for America and its elected officials.
The Youth Prayer Rally consists of Prayer, Praise & Worship, Testimonies, Live Music, Liturgical Dance, Fellowship, Food, and Giveaways!
The Youth Prayer Rally is also an evangelistic opportunity to reach the unsaved and the unchurched.
