Hey! I’m Kym McKay!! I make the workday go by faster every weekday from 10am ‘til 3pm and of course take your requests during the Classic Café at noon! When I’m not working, I am spending time with my son Nick, traveling with the boyfriend, relaxing and generally just living life to the fullest.

I am a rock chick through and through. I grew up in Montgomery County and remember the days of taking my parents car, piling in all my friends and heading up to the Rabbit’s Foot in Frederick to see Kix, Child's Play and Wrathchild America and to Hammerjacks in Baltimore to see every 80’s hair band imaginable. Ahhh, the good old days.

Nowadays I listen to Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Steely Dan, Warren Haynes, Lady Gaga (she's awesome!) and yeah, the 80’s bands at times too! I used to ride motorcycles but notosomuch anymore although I still love them.  Just too many crazy people in a hurry on the road ya' know?  I love to watch football (I loooooooooove me some Washington Redskins!!!!), go to hockey games (I loooooooove me some Philadelphia Flyers!!), eat out, travel to fun new places, sit on the beach and read and futz around in my garden (is “futz” even a word?!?). It should be known that I was hopelessly addicted to Lost and miss it greatly and am grudgingly intrigued by most reality television programming on VH1. My newest obsession is, sadly, The Real Housewives franchise...my favorite being New Jersey so far.
